Born: October 21, 1772 in Devon England
Died: July 25, 1884 in Highgate England
 

Samuel Taylor Coleridge was an English poet and founder of the Romantic Movement.  He wasn't as well known as Wordsworth or Shelley but influenced them greatly.  Coleridge wrote a volume of poems with Wordsworth called "Lyrical Ballads" and even though he didn't contribute as much as Wordsworth, he received more praise for his works.
